The practice of Yoga is meant for everyone regardless of age, body type, athletic ability, or prior experiences. Yoga practitioners come in all shapes and sizes.
Then you likely will benefit from Yoga even more! Yoga is designed to help open people up both physically and mentally. Physically tight people will receive great benefits from the postures even if they are only able to attempt the movements. Over time, everyone will see progress being made as the body and mind begin to relax.
The heat serves several purposes. First, it helps relax and loosen tighter muscles which assists in opening up the body during the practice.
Some people like to compete against themselves or others so they naturally take Yoga on as a competition. For others this isn't be the case. Yoga is a practice, and as such can teach acceptance in the present of what one can and cannot do in the moment.
The physical practice of Yoga is of course exercise. However the entire practice of Yoga includes mental, emotional, spiritual and community exercises, which are meant to create awareness and balance in our selves in order to live more satisfying and meaningful lives.
Yes! Learning to observe our patterns may feel overwhelming at first, because most of us are so busy we run on autopilot. This makes life seem easier and more efficient but may create behaviors that are not healthy. Awareness creates choice. If you are being honest with yourself about where you are and what you can and cannot do, you are practicing Yoga.
Most of our classes are designed for all levels, from beginner to advanced. See Class Descriptions to see which classes are best suited for you.
No. Drop ins are welcome. However, since our classes have size limits for your comfort and safety, reservations are available to ensure you will have a space in class. See Reservation Policies.
There is a minimum of 16 years for heated classes. For non-heated classes, the child should be able to stay on their mat during the duration of the class, so as not to disrupt others.
Most of our classes do not change on a weekly basis, however, we frequently revise our schedule to keep things fresh. We also offer Special Classes to give Students the opportunity to try different Yoga styles. Weekly Schedules are posted in the Studio and are available to take home. See Schedule.
Class cards can only be extended if a new class card is purchased. Upon a purchase, an expired card will then be extended for 6 months and the new class card will not be activated until the first class on that card is used.
Unlimited Memberships cannot be placed hold, so try to take into account upcoming travel and vacations when making purchases. If you experience an unexpected medical condition, after purchasing the membership, that makes yoga unsuitable, please send us a Doctor’s note stating that practicing yoga would not be advisable in their view and stating the period of time they would anticipate you will need before you would be able to resume a yoga practice.
Refunds are not offered for ANY of our services or products. Be mindful BEFORE any purchases are made.

If less than 30 days notice is provided, the next monthly charge will still be run and a 1 month credit will be placed in the Student's account for when they return. Send an email to us and we will stop auto-pay charges once the 30 notice period requirement passes.
