I became a STOTT certified pilates instructor a few years ago after noticing that the fitness industry was changing from using phrases like “ high impact cardio” and “feel the burn” to using terms like functional training and core strength. Since then pilates and yoga have become key elements of fitness programs.I love the balance that pilates adds to a fitness program. Pilates will strengthen and lengthen the body while improving core strength and posture, which adds to overall health
