After experiencing a series of injuries to her foot – sustained from years of punishing long distance running, Fiona decided to give up running and seek a more forgiving way to stay fit and healthy. She took up Bikram yoga, and was hooked from her very first class. She was particularly attracted to the intensity of the practice and how it made her feel both physically and mentally.
Given the extraordinary benefits Fiona received from practicing Bikram yoga, she resolved to share her commitment to it by teaching others. She subsequently attended the Bikram Yoga Teacher Training program in the Spring of 2010. Since then, she has taught at various yoga studios in San Francisco and the Peninsula.
