Gabe Rogol

October 2001

Gabe Rogol walked into the Bikram’s Studio like so many of us—a casualty of sports. Having played a lot of basketball, many of Gabe’s joints were injured. He’d broken both wrists, hurt his knee and tweeked his back. Almost immediately, however, Gabe could feel the healing effect of Bikram’s yoga. “It was a combination of the heat and the sequence of the poses,” Gabe reports. “I could tell Bikram’s would be good for healing joints.”

Having practiced at least five times a week at the studio (and even more at home) since January, Gabe says he’s feeling a lot better. His back is “feeling really good,” his wrists are stronger, and the knee keeps improving each time he practices Supta Vaj Rasana (fixed firm pose).

To the instructors here, it’s clear that Gabe believes in his practice. He is incredibly focused and gives 100% of his effort every single class. With a continuation of his devotion and a little more time Gabe will be off the injured list and back into any game he chooses.
