Jen Friedlander

June 2003

Jen Friedlander has been working out and staying fit for a long time. For years she’s been weight lifting, taking spinning classes and participating in athletic conditioning classes. Two years ago, she added Bikram’s to her cross-training. She said that shortly after trying Bikram’s, she realized that by practicing yoga, she would be able to maintain her level of activity longer into the aging process. “Bikram’s keeps you limber and supple. It’s something you can do your whole life.” Jen stated. “Now that I’ve been practicing yoga, I can’t imagine not doing it because it feels so good.” Feeling good extends to Jen’s mood as well. “With Bikram’s, I feel grounded and relaxed. I don’t have to make a big deal out of so many things. It makes me feel centered.

Jen has a strong, centered practice. For the two years she’s been practicing, she practiced consistently three to four days a week—except for the time she completed the “60 day challenge” (during which time she practice 60 consecutive days in a row!). Jen brings a positive energy to class with her. Her practice is focused and solid. We all give her a solid round of applause!
