The staff at Being Yoga has nominated Orlando Trujillo to be our October Student of the Month. Orlando began doing yoga 2 years ago, and despite a busy work schedule, has committed to practicing 3 days a week. He says that doing yoga has helped reduce the overall stress level in his life and that he feels more relaxed and energetic after each session.
Orlando began his yoga practice with Bikram Yoga, and now also incorporates Vinyasa Flow into his routine. He has tried pilates, swimming, and other activities but feels that nothing compares to the benefits received from doing yoga. Orlando has become much more flexible from his regular practice, which has enhanced his golf game and other aspects of life. He is known by his teachers for his positive and humble demeanor. Orlando says, “Yoga has helped me so much mentally and physically that it has become a very important part of my life. I hope to be doing yoga for the rest of my life”.
