Rob Dill

October, 2002

It’s an understatement to say that Rob Dill is active. He is an active golfer. He plays tennis. He skis and he snowboards. He mountain bikes and he windsurfs. Hardly a day goes by that Rob isn’t hanging it out there, pushing his body to the max. So, the very first time Rob took a Bikram’s Yoga class three years ago, he knew he’d found something just right for him.

“I loved it right from the beginning,” Rob reports. “I knew that I’d found preventative medicine.” Preventative medicine that would keep him limber, keep his joints healthy and his muscles strong to sustain all his many activities. (Bikram’s himself, by the way calls his classes “Daily preventative medicine.”)

“I haven’t pulled a muscle in two years,” Rob says. “And I don’t’ even stretch out before an activity any more.”

Rob reports that practicing breathing in Yoga has had a major impact on him as well. As a Sales Rep for a major ski company, Rob has to stand up sometimes in front of hundreds of people to make a presentation. His new awareness of breathing has helped him find a relaxation and focus that he didn’t have before. Having to drive a lot for his job, Rob says breathing has helped him there, too. “Now I can stay content while I drive and not worry about what’s coming next.”

“I would recommend Yoga to everybody,” Rob states.

Rob practices three to five classes a week, and it’s clear to all the teachers that he dedicates “110%” of his energy to every class. Being in the minority as a regular male yogi practitioner, we appreciate the strong energy he brings into the studio with him.

May Yoga continue to give you strength and peace through your very active life, Rob.
