Divine Abundance
There’s excitement in the air at Being Yoga. It won’t be long until we relocate to our new studio which is buzzing with activity in preparation for its grand opening. We’re all eagerly anticipating and looking forward to the many new amenities and improvements that it will provide. We feel fortunate to be part of this joyous expansion and grateful that everything lined up to make it happen. These feelings of excitement, anticipation and gratitude bring us to Being Yoga’s theme for the month: Divine Abundance. What is the connection between the new studio and Divine Abundance? Please read on to find out.
What is Divine Abundance? Divine Abundance is a law of service and generosity, a law of giving and then receiving. The principle behind Divine Abundance is that there is abundance in the Universe—endless material and spiritual abundance. The exciting part is that we all have equal access to it. Access is “granted” to anyone who is open to it—anyone who opens his or her heart and mind to it. And just how does one do that? Through “right mindedness,” that is, through tuning one’s thoughts onto higher levels of thought such as love, joy, service and gratitude. So, by focusing and acting upon these positive emotions, we actually draw more of them to us. When we offer thoughts of love, we receive love; when we focus on joy, we find more things to be joyful about; and when we look to serve, life serves us well. “Give to the world the best you have, and the best will come back to you.”
So, with the opening of the new studio, we feel we are experiencing Divine Abundance in action. Our Being Yoga studio represents a community of practitioners who attend classes in an effort to improve upon their health and well being. By practicing yoga, we release stress and negativity, and we grow stronger and more flexible. By doing so, our studio is filled with people moving towards “right mindedness,” which in turn draws more and more of the positive into their lives. This momentum has carried us forward into alignment with our new studio which will serve to propel us even further into a connection with Divine Abundance. We look forward to the years ahead with each of you as we continue moving toward the Divine.
