Holiday Fund Drive for The Art of Yoga Project
Being Yoga is pleased to once again announce its support of The Art of Yoga Project’s (AYP) holiday fund drive. AYP is a local grassroots non-profit organization that brings yoga and creative expression to teen girls in juvenile detention centers. They depend greatly on the generosity of the yoga community, students and teachers alike, to be able to help these girls find their own strength and develop accountability to themselves and others. We are therefore accepting donations on their behalf through the end of the year in the green and white polka dot box in the lobby or you may make an online contribution through Paypal.
Funds raised will go towards sustaining over 650 hours of yoga and art-based rehabilitation programs in the San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara County juvenile facilities. To learn more about AYP, please check out their website.
Coat/Blanket Drive
This December and January, we will once again be accepting
warm coats and blankets to be donated to the local
shelter for people who are cold.
Take this opportunity to clear some clutter and donate to
a worthwhile local cause by putting any extra coats
or blankets into the bin by the front door.
