YIN WITH ESSENTIAL OILS

Complement your active yoga with the deep practice of Yin, where poses are held 3 – 5 minutes. It can decrease your stress level, release the fascia and connective tissue throughout the body, create flexible joints, regulate energy and even help migraines! Essential oils are added to enhance relaxation, emotional transformation and physical healing.

PRENATAL YOGA

Sunday, November 17

This class is open to moms-to-be or women who are hoping to conceive. In this class, students can expect a 45 minute gentle yoga flow, which includes seated and standing postures, followed by 15 minutes of restorative yoga, using props for support, creating a well-rounded asana practice.

Expecting moms can also anticipate variations of yoga poses geared for opening up the body in preparation for labor, and will have the opportunity to connect with others to form a supportive community to learn and grow through their yoga practice and motherhood.

Slow down with Yoga Nidra, which is literally translated as “yoga sleep”. You will begin with a light sequence of seated postures to warm-up. Then Teacher Melissa will guide you through a deep meditation of rest, relaxation and cellular regeneration, where your mind, body and spirit can repair, restore and find peace.
